In part one we saw what success is not and how people wrongly define their success. You can see that here
In continuation, today we are going to look at ways to define and follow your own success rather than letting others do that for you or living someone else life.
Your definition of success could seem insignificant and could be the tiniest thing ever, but what is of most importance is that it gives you joy and a sense of fulfillment.
To achieve success, we must first set our own goals based on what we desire and not what others want for us or what they do.
In so many ways, we are successful beings if we think it through. It is not until we are unable to achieve a certain thing that we consider ourselves failures. If we do so, then we would remain frustrated in life.
Success is a goal as well as a journey. Every little thing achieved as an individual is success achieved but we do not settle. We forge on hoping to achieve more.

WAYS TO DEFINE YOUR OWN SUCCESS
1. Find out what you want to become in life and visualize it.
2. Know your passion. What is that one thing you keep doing over and over again non stop that gives you joy? Identify it
3. Believe you are worthy of your dreams and that you can achieve it.
4. Take every discouragement and limits off you placed by others.
5. Disregard offending others with your dreams whether they believe you or not. Support you or not.
4. What legacy would you like to leave behind? Work on it.
The above points mentioned above are dreams you would want to achieve but in order to achieve these dreams,you need to;
1. Set major goals
2. Break your major goals into subgoals and then,
3. Have a routine.
If for instance, you want to lose weight, you don't set a goal of doing a 9 hour exercise just for one day but breaking it into 20 minutes exercise per day will give you the desired result within few months.
The major goal here is to lose weight and the subgoal is to exercise 20 minutes per day. Same thing applies to every other goal and when you do this, you will see yourself achieving your success and not someone's else's success.
It doesn't matter how many times you fall, fail or that it seems like you are heading nowhere. Anything you must do well or need to do well, you have to do often. All you need do is to put it in your routine.
When you are faithful with the little that God has placed in your hands, God turns it from the ordinary into the extraordinary.
Pastor David Ibiyeomie also defined success as "making continuous and satisfactory progress towards a God-given assignment."
It only takes one person to believe that you can do it and that person is you. Only you can do what God has called you to do.You may not see where it is taking you now but eventually you will.
When you keep doing what you want to do best, it builds commitment in you, it keeps doing a work in you bringing out the extraordinary out of you eventually.
When preparation meets opportunity, it is success. When you prepare today (routine), you will be better and successful tomorrow.
Quote for the day - "Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself; do not go out and look for a successful personality and duplicate it." - Bruce Lee
