THE POWER OF LOVE

Love is an action word, not an abstract idea and as an action word, if it's real and true, you will be able to feel it and see it work.

The word love could mean different things to different people depending on the kind of relationships they are into.

It could mean romance, it could mean the kind of love expressed between siblings, parents and children, mere friends and so on.

It can also be used to express our feelings for other things such as our love for certain kinds of foods, music, places, movies, animals etc.

But above all these, is the God kind of love that supersedes every other kind of love. Till we understand God's kind of love then it would be difficult to love rightly the way we ought to in the different forms or kinds of relationships that exist.

God's kind of love is the 1 Corinthians 13:4 kind of love that says "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, its not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."

True love is not selfish. It doesn't take undue advantage of others. It is selfless, placing the needs of others before its own.

It is the most powerful force on earth with no limits and the one true governing force.

Yet people scarcely use love for the entire good of humanity but mostly for selfish desires.

Albert Einstein in reiterating the God's kind of love, once said "Perhaps we are not yet ready to make a bomb of love, a device so powerful enough to entirely destroy the planet. However, each individual carries within them a small but powerful generator of love whose energy is waiting to be released."

He said "There is an extremely powerful force that so far, science has not found a formal explanation to. It is a force that includes and governs all others, and is even behind any phenomenon operating in the universe and has not yet been identified by us. This universal force is LOVE." 

This is so true of a genuine love. It is unexplainable and indescribable. You just know you are in love.

Explaining the power of love, Albert Einstein went further to say;

"Love is light that enlightens those who give and receive it. Love is gravity, because it makes some people feel attracted to others. Love is power, because it multiples the best we have and allows humanity not to be extinguished in their blind selfishness. Love unfolds and reveals. For Love we live and die. Love is God and God is love.

This force explains everything and gives meaning to life. This is the variable that we have ignored for too long, maybe because we are afraid of love because it is the only energy in the universe that man has not learned to drive at will." 

The world today is so full of hate and selfishness that it has destroyed homes, relationships and the world at large. To this, Albert Einstein advised;

"After the failure of humanity in the use and control of other forces of the universe that have turned against us, it is urgent that we nourish ourselves with another kind of energy...

If we want our species to survive, if we are to find meaning to life, if we want to save the world and every sentient being that inhabits it, love is the one and only answer. 

Perhaps we are not ready yet to make a bomb of love, a device powerful enough to entirely destroy the hate, selfishness and greed that devastates the the planet.

However, each individual carries within them a small but powerful generator of love whose energy is waiting to be released."

When we learn to give and receive this universal energy, we will have affirmed that love conquers all, it's able to transcend everything and anything because love is the quintessence of life."
