Rivers State Deputy Governor Dr. Mrs. Ipalibo Harry Banigo has commended the Amayanabo of Okochiri King Ateke Michael Tom for his peaceful disposition which has attracted development to his Kingdom.
Dr. Banigo made this commendation during a courtesy visit to the Palace of King Ateke Tom, in Okochiri, Okrika Local Government Area on Saturday, 30th November, 2019.
The Deputy Governor informed the Monarch that she was at his Palace to congratulate him on his second year anniversary of his coronation as well as his recent recognition by the Rivers State Government.
“Thank you for the great work you have been doing for Okochiri, in Wakirike and for the whole of Rivers State and the Niger Delta Region” the Deputy Governor further stressed.
Dr. Banigo prayed the Almighty God to continue to give King Ateke Tom the wisdom, good health and the strength to lead his People.
In his response the Palace Spokesman, Chief Chris Biriowu said King Ateke Tom was delighted by the visit of the Deputy Governor which according to him would foster a great working relationship.
