Rivers State Deputy Governor Dr. Mrs. Ipalibo Harry Banigo says the Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike led Administration is eternally grateful to the Almighty God for his mercies.
Dr. Banigo stated this while speaking during the 2019, Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service of St. Cyprians Anglican Church, Port Harcourt on Sunday, 3rd November, 2019.
According to the Deputy Governor, harvest is a time of thanks giving because of the goodness of the Lord, stressing that God has been faithful to the Government and People of Rivers State.
“We have cause to give God thanks, to call his name and to declare his works to his people God has been faithful to us in all our journeys within and outside Nigeria, representing the State. In all our Journeys across the LGA’s during our campaigns, God has been faithful, God kept us he protected us he provided for us. He gave us victory on every side. If all our bodies were to be mouth, it will not be enough to thank him for our friends, families, those who work with us, for those who have come out in various ways to show their love to us, we just have to say God thank you”
Dr. Banigo who said God has given us victory on all sides, disclosed that it is only our Lord Jesus Christ that has done this for the State, noting that we have to thank him and acknowledge his deeds and all his ways.
“We will continue to work in the vane yard of God, because that is what he has called us to do the reason why he has brought us into this position is what we are going to fulfil” She quipped.
Speaking on the theme Harvest of Gratefulness which was drawn from 1 Chronicles Chapter 29:1-14, the Guest Preacher Evangelist Donna Anaje urged Christians to understand that whatever they have is an assignment from God which has a reward, stressing that anytime something is given on God’s demand, God is obliged to give back.
“When God enables you to acquire certain level of affluence, influence and wealth he will surely demand from you according to the capacity he has given to you.” She further stressed.
