WIKE EXTOLS THE FATHERLY DISPOSITION OF KING JAJA

The State Chief Executive Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has extolled the fatherly disposition of King Dandeson Douglas Jaja, Amayanabo of Opobo.

Governor Wike eulogized the king while speaking at a Musical Concert to commemorate the 77th Birthday Celebration of King Dandeson Jaja at the Secretariat of the Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers on Sunday, 28th April 2019.

Represented by his Deputy Dr. (Mrs) Ipalibo Harry Banigo Governor Wike said the peaceful and calm disposition of the monarch has brought a lot of development to Opobo Kingdom, noting that for the first time in history, the Opobo People can now drive into Opobo.

According to Governor Wike King Dandeson Jaja is a father not only to the Opobo People but the entire State at large, noting that during the 2019 election upheaval King Jaja used his calm disposition to make a firm and assertive statement to the Presidency and the International Community to allow the Rivers People to freely choose their leaders.

Governor Wike who expressed delight to be part of the celebration wished King Dandeson Douglas Jaja good health and wealth on behalf of the Rivers People.

In his testimony king Dandeson Douglass Jaja, Amayanabo of Opobo and Chairman Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers expressed gratitude to the Almighty God for his mercies towards him.

The Monarch who said he was humbled by the galaxy of dignitaries that came to celebrate with him, stressed that his philosophy in life is to be humble because it is only the Almighty God that can decide the fate of man.
