Rivers State Deputy Governor has described Christmas as a season of everlasting joy.
Dr. Banigo stated this during the 2018 Christmas Carol organized by the Office of the Deputy Governor at the Government House in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, 18th December, 2018.
According to Dr. Banigo, Our Lord Jesus Christ was born to redeem and reconcile man to the Almighty God our creator because of his love for us, stressing that Christians must ensure that they soak themselves in the word of God at all times.

She said Christians must realise that whatever services rendered to God in the form of worship, praises, dancing, our time, talents and soul winning are seeds that attracts God’s blessings, noting that the seed of the woman shall bruise the head of the serpent.
The Carol featured ministrations from the Choir as well as special award to some staff of the Deputy Governor’s Office for their outstanding performance.
In a related development the state Deputy Governor, Dr. (Mrs) Ipalibo Harry Banigo who was the Special Guest of Honour at the Rivers State Television Festival of Xmas Carol of 9 Lessons has reiterated the Commitment of the Nyesom Ezenwo Wike led Administration to provide a safe and peaceful environment for the citizenry to live and grow their businesses.
