Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr.(Mrs) Ipalibo Harry Banigo says the Governor Wike led Administration is a caring one.
The Deputy Governor stated this during a meeting with the Wives of the 23 Local Government Chairmen and the Vice Chairmen of Councils at the Government House in Port Harcourt on Monday 8th October 2018.

She said the State Government is set to carry out the first Phase of the Governor Wike’s Widows Outreach Programme at the Port Harcourt Civic Centre, on Friday the 12th of October, 2018, where 500 Widows drawn from the 23 Local Government Areas would be attended to.
Dr. Banigo who said the Wife of the State Chief Executive, Hon. Justice Eberechi Suzette Nyesom Wike, would be the Special Guest of Honour, disclosed that there would be Free Medical Screening, a talk by the Medical Women Association of Nigeria (MWAN) as well as the International Federation of Female Lawyers (FIDA).
According to Dr. Banigo, as Wives of Council Chairmen and Vice Chairmen, they have an important role to play in terms of reaching out to the people at the grass roots, noting that grass root development is key in the developmental agenda of Governor Wike.
Also Speaking, the State Commissioner for Women Affairs Mrs. Ukiel Oyaghiri who expressed joy that the Governor has chosen Dr (Mrs) Ipalibo Harry Banigo as his running mate in the forthcoming election urged the wives of the Chairmen and the Vice Chairmen to work together to ensure the success of the Governor Wike led Administration.
