Its New year!
The Year 2018 marks the beginning of new things and a new dawn.
2017 was indeed an eventful year filled with joyful as well as sad moments. Some of us scaled new heights, achieved some set goals, some of us lost loved ones, properties, jobs, businesses and so on but in all these all hope is not lost. The fact that u see and read this gives you a new sense of hope. Despite all odds, God kept us alive to see a brand new year, meaning He is not through with us yet.
We may have lost so many things but God is the reason why we haven't lost everything.
He remains God no matter the
circumstance. He makes all things beautiful in His time and for that we remain grateful to God with a heart full of Thanksgiving for making it possible for us to see 2018.
2017 presented to us strengths and wisdom to achieve and do better in 2018 as regards things we couldn't do in 2018.
In 2018, have a heart of gratitude to God, be unique, have a positive mind set in achieving your set goals, let your faith be much more stronger than it was in 2017.
Let go of the failures and hurts of 2017 and see 2018 as an opportunity to rebuild, and restrategise.
If you are single, fall in love again and give love a chance. If you are married, make your marriage sweeter than it was in 2017. Your marriage shouldn't know a better last year.
Be focused, disciplined and determined in what you set your mind to achieve this year.
2018 sets new opportunities and open doors, be sensitive enough to recognize opportunities set before you.
If you are an employer, make 2018 a difference in the lives of your employees, appreciate every little effort of your employees, put smiles on their faces and remember without employees no smooth running of the business. Reward their efforts.
If you are an employee, put in your best to do better than you did last year. See how you can help in moving the company forward and better, having in mind that you can start up yours some day. Above all be grateful to God that you still have a job. 2017 saw many loose their jobs as companies were either seen folding up or laying off staff due to economic recession.
My pastor (Pastor Emmanuel Agi) once said " e no good, e no good, leave am, e dey cover something". Ponder on these words and you will be appreciative of what you have irrespective of the challenges.
Wishing us all the very best of 2018. May we never know a better last year.
Happy Prosperous New Year to us all.
