Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr. (Mrs.) Ipalibo Harry Banigo says with the brilliant performance of Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike and other Peoples Democratic Party Governors across the country the PDP will definitely take over the reins of power at the centre come 2019.
In a statement from the Government House in Port Harcourt Dr. Banigo described Governor Wike’s unity visit to his colleagues as a bridge preparatory to the party’s taking over Governance at the polls in 2019.
“The recent invitation of Governor Wike to the Commissioning of Projects in Abia State shows that like Rivers State, projects are seriously going on in the PDP States despite the economic crunch because of the commitment of the Governors to serve their people sacrificially and ensure Good Governance”. The Deputy Governor stressed.
She said it is unfortunate that, two and half years after winning the 2015 General Elections, instead of delivering on its campaign promises to Nigerians the APC led Federal Government is still giving excuses, paying lip service to the fight against corruption and playing the blame game.
According to her “Nigerians are yearning to come out of this hellish nightmare the APC has plunged them into”,stressing that the Peoples Democratic Party is the best alternative.
