The Deputy Governor of Rivers State Dr. (Mrs.) Ipalibo Harry Banigo has urged the newly sworn in Care Taker Committee Chairman of Degema Local Government Area Mrs. Okorite Carrie Adiele to ensure that the People of the Local Government Area feel the impact of the Wike led Administration.
The Deputy Governor stated this during a courtesy visit to her by the CTC Chairman of Delga and other stakeholders of the L.G.A at the Government House in Port Harcourt.
Dr. Banigo said “Work with the heart of a mother, emulate the Governor by making sure security and prompt payment of salaries are top on your list of priorities. Carry everybody along. Give them a sense of belonging let them feel the impact of the Nyesom Ezenwo Wike led Government”.
The Deputy Governor who expressed gratitude to the Governor for appointing Mrs. Okorite Carrie Adiele said the CTC Chairman must justly the confidence reposed on her and other female Care Taker committee Chairmen across the State by promoting Good Governance, noting that the gender friendly Governor has so far appointed five women as Care Taker Committee Chairmen.
In her remarks the Care Taker Committee Chairman of Degema Local Government Area Mrs. Okorite Carrie Adiele said having been admonished by the State Governor she and her council members will do everything humanly possible to impact positively on the People of the Local Government Area, stressing that with God on her side she will make the Governor and his Deputy proud in the LGA.
