Rivers State Deputy Governor Dr. (Mrs.) Ipalibo Harry Banigo has expressed delight that the Federal House of Representatives Committee on Banking and Currency chose Port Harcourt, the Rivers State Capital to host its retreat.
In a statement from the Government House in Port Harcourt Dr. Banigo said :
“Rivers State has become the preferred destination for international and national conferences and retreats because of the serene nature of the city and the traditional hospitality of the Rivers People”.
The Deputy Governor encouraged investors to take advantage of the positive business climate in the State and provide jobs for our teaming youths. According to her government is desirous to ensure that no genuine investor is molested in the State irrespective of his clime or creed.
“The Governor Wike led Administration is conscious of the fact that Government cannot provide jobs for all the eligible job seekers in the State this is why it has created the enabling environment for the private sector to do business and in the process engage our youths who have now developed a positive attitude to work and are hardworking and enterprising”. Dr. Banigo stressed to underscore the importance’s Government places on creating a friendly business climate.
Dr. Banigo who wished members of the House Committee on Banking and Currency a fruitful stay in the Garden City urged them to take time off their busy schedule to enjoy the traditional Rivers Hospitality.
