PDP POISED TO TAKE OVER IN 2019: RIVERS STATE DEPUTY GOVERNOR, BANIGO

Rivers State Deputy Governor Dr. (Mrs). Ipalibo Harry Banigo has expressed confidence that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) will take over the reins of Governance at the Centre in 2019.

The Deputy Governor stated this while fielding questions from news men shortly after her arrival at the Port Harcourt International Airport Omagwa, after attending the non elective congress of the Peoples Democratic Party in Abuja.


Dr. Banigo who said the party has decided to learn from the mistakes of the past disclosed that the “PDP is back, strong united and poised to take over the leadership of the Country in 2019”



The Deputy Governor who described the convention as a huge success said the“atmosphere was so electric, there was so much unity and people were encouraged to ensure the party gives Nigeria the leadership she deserves”.

Dr. Banigo who congratulated the leadership and members of the party for the success recorded, specially thanked the State Chief Executive Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for providing quality leadership in Rivers State. According to her “only the PDP can restore the Lost Glory of Nigeria”
